It is as we are moving, taking steps, that we gain from the information we have.
In the course of making decisions each day, it is not necessary to have perfect information, that is, information to the nth degree. We can never obtain all the information there is in a given time. At some point trying to obtain and “needing” every bit of information begins to paralyze us. Those of us who are the analytic types know this personally.
As an information professional, I need to get the information right. It is in the organizing and determining how the information can be instructive that it will finally benefits us.
When a client can make an informed decision, then take action, progress is made. Taking steps. These steps may take a number of directions. Armed with good information, the steps taken will more likely lead to success.
